Today I was told that my cappuccino was better than any of the one’s this older italian woman has ever had in Italy.
I legitimately thought I was going to cry when she told me this. I was so proud of how far I’ve come as a barista and how much I love this industry and the cultures that are involved.
She asked me where I learned to make my cappuccinos. Thank you so much Jay Caragay and Bonnie Hohman, you two have been the biggest and most respected barista mentors in my life. I’m so grateful to have worked under someone who has such a huge influence and part in the barista community (Jay).
Ugh, that seriously made my day.
So happy this blog had a picture of the exact 3 new flavors of Chobani greek yogurts that I picked up from Target this weekend.
I haven’t tried the apple cinnamon one yet but I can say the blood orange and the passion fruit are officially my two new favorites (sorry mango, I still love you).
Target is having a 5 for $5 sale on their Chobani yogurts, it’s a must buy! I actually plan on heading back over tomorrow to buy more.
Excuse me while I approve the hell out of this Diet Snapple Half&Half with only 10 calories per bottle…though I’d probably go through quite a few bottles in a day…it’s just so good!!
NOW DONT GET ME WRONG, it’s not Arnold Palmer, but Snapple is stepping their game up!
My first experience at Honey Pig in Ellicott City, MD for their famous korean bbq. I can tell you right now, this will definitely not be last.
The food was INCREDIBLE. You got a bunch of different sides and sauces right when you sat down and they cooked all these amazing meats right in front of you.
It was my mom, aunt and myself and we got 2 entree meats, the beef ribs and bulgogi. Both meats were to die for. The beef ribs were probably my favorite though. We also got an order of their steamed dumpling, so delicious but they give you 10 (only $7.99) and we were so full we ended up taking half home!
If you live in Maryland, you MUST make it out here to try it. They are open 24-7 too and the staff are super friendly.
