What are you? I dont care, you are adorable. (Taken with instagram)
Cant sleep so im watching latte art porn.
Going to pick up a bottle for the espresso coco syrup today.
Lots of experimenting to do at work today! :)
I legitimately thought I was going to cry when she told me this. I was so proud of how far I’ve come as a barista and how much I love this industry and the cultures that are involved.
She asked me where I learned to make my cappuccinos. Thank you so much Jay Caragay and Bonnie Hohman, you two have been the biggest and most respected barista mentors in my life. I’m so grateful to have worked under someone who has such a huge influence and part in the barista community (Jay).
Ugh, that seriously made my day.
So this is my first attempt at Kermit the frog. It turned out alright. I think I need to work on the shape of his face a little, but other than that, he’s adorable and I love him :)
I wish my customers would enjoy their drinks in the cafe more than running with them so I could top all of their drinks with adorable muppets, animals and rosettas :)
Boho-ing it up at work apparently.
Speaking of work, I’m determined to sketch some Muppets latte art. DETERMINED. Then I will post a picture on twitter and hope that Jason Segel falls madly in love with my skills.
I’m thinking Kermit, Piggy or Animal…then again there is Gonzo, Fozzy, Beaker…oh lordy, the options!
A GIRL CAN DREAM!
Sassy McSasserson and her lovely latte art.
I forget how long my hair is sometimes. I usually just throw it in a side braid and go. I do not mind it down at all though!
Waiting on my thigh piece but in the mean time I have been wanting for a while now to get an amazing latte art outline in thick black ink on the back of one of my shoulders. I’m thinking either a rosetta or the heart/tulip combo. I’ve been searching for the perfect picture but I think if I was able to pour THE perfect one for me, that would make it even more special.
Coffee and the barista life has become so important to me. It’s a new found passion I would have never known I had if it wasn’t for Jay Caragay (my old boss and owner of Spro Coffee) and Bonnie Hohman (my current boss/owner of BB’s Cafe and former coworker/mentor at Spro Coffee). This tattoo would not only be a symbol of something I’m so passionate about but also a dedication to their love that they put into the industry and passed down to me.

Us baristas gotta look out for each other.
They were as delicious as they were pretty :)
TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS IN ONE. YES.
Thank you Lee :D
So Carrie Fisher is giving a talk at the Towson, MD branch of BCPL. BB’s Cafe just so happens to be located on the bridge of the library.
Being the clever barista I am, I’ll be perfecting a “java-the-hut” latte with jabba the hut on top to present to her when she arrives :) I thought it was cute and funny and that she’d appreciate it, especially if she likes good coffee.
